i've been in need of a new laptop for a long time.
no, i mean it - a really long time.
the old dell that we have has a floppy lid and is woefully underpowered although it does build up my upper body strength every time i pick it up.. the last 6 months has been a bad time to buy something new though with the haswell processors on the horizon promising better battery life and also screen technology seems to have been leaping ahead recently to a new hi-dpi standard.. so apple finally released their mac book pro and at the same time dell has released an xps 15 ultrabook which looks like a pretty good alternative and probably better 'value'.. pro's and con's?
Macbook Pro....hands down! I have a 15" and it's perfect for movie viewing. 13" is better if you travel a lot.
Love mine and had it for years. I will NEVER go back to a PC. Just recently had it's opperating system updated after many years of awesome use
I wouldn't bother with Macbook "Air".... The body is not durable. You may as well buy a notebook.

part of the conversation centered around the "generation" teaching.
all of them clearly trying to wrap their heads around it.
Some who are finally realizing something is not quite right, will wait on a wing and a prayer that the Org will be cleaned up (which is something I personally thought at one time). But now that I've learnd how the org was started, and the shadows who are really running the machine are simply corporate goones..I see that NEVER happening.
Others will simply say as OTWO mentioned....."Where else will we go?".......
However, the near future will indeed be interesting.

Mankind may not be able to jump back and forth as some know it today (with quantum mechanices it's a possiblity), doesn't mean advanced beings with "advanced technology" cannot.

MadGiant however, if you take into account quantum mechanics, these UFOs can be from a parallel universes an event happeing at the same time in space...crossing over........

Acluetofindtheuser, many, many, years ago the WTS used to say the star of Bethlehem was Satan. True.
In 74 I was living in Nothern Calif. where stars are panoramically vivid. I was looking up at the stars one eving and noticed a "slow" moving star and I Knew it wasn't a shooting star as it was moving too slow. Suddenly, it shot off the left, and in another instant started making lightening speed menuvers in different directions, then shot off again in lightening speed into the universe. At first I thought it might be some type of airforce craft, but there's no way in hell the airforce had that type of technology in 74'. And, I was totally sober.
